Seattle Weekly's Description

Kathy Casey's gourmet to-go spot in Old Ballard is the lazy cook's dream. Grab something from the case -- Mom's meatloaf with a side of pickled beets, for instance -- to take home and warm up for supper. The selections go deep if you plan ahead and order from the catering menu. Or, have the friendly staff toast up a sammie right there if you're in the mood to dine in. Besides the hot and cold sandwiches, there's a solid lineup of salads and a featured soup. If you're impressed with what's on the plate, you can sign up for a cooking class at this multi-tasking facility, which is also home to chef Casey's production studio. Travelers take note: There's another Dish D'Lish at SeaTac, the best grab-and-go food option at the airport.

Let's keep the Bee in Ballard, their sticky golden product is ridiculously tasty.

Try the chocolate cookies! And special drinks

Sit on the back patio and enjoy being surrounded by a great array of plants and trees.

Ask for the "Inga West" sandwich -not on the menu. An artichoke-parmesan cheddar melt with sliced tomatoes, hot-pressed on multi-grain bread.
