Circa Neighborhood Grill and Alehouse
Seattle, WA 98116
Seattle Weekly's Description
It's standing room only at West Seattle's favorite miniature alehouse; this place is almost always packed, whether you go on Friday night for the fabulous French fries or for a Sunday brunch of Hawaiian sweet-bread French toast. It's the kind of place where if you ask the bartender for a food recommendation, a half-dozen regulars will lean over to tell you how much they love the bacon-wrapped meatloaf. The menu fits the space-bold, all-American, and 10 notches above the "bar food" that so often meets our low expectations. Upscale your evening with a braised lamb shank showered in lemon zest and parsley, or you can stick to the Circa Burger. Made with Misty Isle beef and smoke-tinged from the grill, it's fine dining enough.
Tips from foursquare
Neighborhood comfort food. The grilled steak salad is a perennial favorite. There's always a good dinner special. Great beer selection. Kid friendly (look for the toy baskets)
Check out the server's name on your bill for a fun surprise!
I love the steak salad sub. Chicken! Yummy! Hubby says fish n' chips are the best in town!
Best chocolate cake you will ever have. Serious.
I literally had juice dripping down my face from the lamb burger. Get the lamb burger.
