Seattle Weekly's Description
Like the childhood friend's house whose front door was always open, Café Racer has earned a reputation for laidback, unpretentious fun. The U-District café and bar has become an incubator for local folk and jazz bands, most notably with their 'Racer Sessions,' a weekly night of experimental music. Yes, this is the place where the kitchen stuffs bacon into a polish sausage and grills it, calling it The Incredible Wonder Wiener. Weekend brunch means corned beef hash, French toast, egg sammies and chili-stuffed omelets. Racer also boasts a full bar, local beer, coffee and tea, and a full lunch and weekend brunch menu.

Play here! This is a great spot for group activities - lots of secluded areas with large tables.
