Seattle Weekly's Description

While Little Addis Ababa stresses homeland décor over nouveau design, Café Ibex determinedly plays the New World card. Sure, the food is traditional—colorful veggie and meat platters served on (and with) injera, Ethiopia's spongy flatbread that doubles as a dining utensil—but the trappings scream Modern Restaurant Monthly.

This place is the best Ethiopian I've had and the portions are huge! They definitely know how to cook and their 2 meat combos are delicious!

  • Vivian N. on 04/04/11

Prepare to eat with your hands. Order some Ethiopian beer. And please try their goat!

  • Tracy T. on 04/05/11

Delicious! However your hands do smell like food afterwards. The spices in the meats and veggies are super flavorful. Come hungry and bring atleast one or two people with you, it's a lot of food!
