Description

Seattle Weekly's Description

This place is just like your favorite pair of jeans. You might be tempted to try on a new pair -- or a new barista -- but you'll always slip back to your old friends because it's all about comfort. Bauhaus is the quintessential coffee spot, launched in 1993 by the brains behind Top Pot. The drinks here are well made, the seats are comfortable. Huge windows let in the light shine in, which can be as good as a shot of espresso as a mood enhancer. There's also free wifi and monthly movie nights add to the feeling of community. If you've got the munchies, there's a selection of sweets and savories, but for a real meal, you're better off wandering across the street for dirt cheap Italian at Machiavelli or a sandwich at Homegrown.

Such lively & relaxing place to be. People discussing about random stuff sitting outside along with people reading inside. The wall full of books is a bit intimidating to me.

Working on the computer, at an independent coffee house, on a rainy day, with a a view of the Space Needle. Does it get more Seattle?

Take in an espresso and their sweeping views of the Space Needle.
