Seattle Weekly's Description

Never fear, Luigi is here. That's Luigi DeNunzio, the outsized, handle-bar moustache-wearing characer who runs this haven of garlic and olive oil in Pioneer Square. This is the kind of place where you want to order with hand gestures and a big Italian accent. First, you have the zuppa and insalata. Next, you have your pasta classics: Linguini with clams or tuna, fettucini Alfredo or Bolognese, two types of lasagna. For the meat course, grab a new napkin and decide between veal scallopini, lamb chops or the filet mignon in gorgonzola sauce. Loosen the belt, wrap your mitts around a cappuccino and choose between the house-made spumoni and the tiramisu for dessert. Ciao!

Let Luigi cook what he wants!

Order family style and let Luigi cook what he wants for you. You won't go home hungry!

The daily special. Lots of different flavours, the meatballs, pork chops Marsala and Alfredo were all delish!

From Seattle Weekly: enjoy a surprisingly affordable two-hour lunch (accompanied by wine, naturally).

Delicious pear Gorgonzola salad. Beef medallions & grilled potatoes were mediocre.
