This place is about way more than Irish beer, me boy-o. Oh, sure. Seamus offers sandwiches and salads along with the usual super happy hour specials and such. But how about this: This authentic Irish pub is the home of Arizona's all-time best selection of Scotch and Irish whiskey in the state. If it's something other than a liquid diet you're looking for, pub food is served round the clock. Try the Shepherd's Pie or the crunchy-fried fish and chips. We go back for the corned beef and cabbage, served with boiled potatoes and just like Gramma O'Hara used to make. Live music most weekend nights is a nice side, but we also dig the company of the friendly, chatty staff the rest of the week. Friendly atmosphere and tasty pub food-what more can one ask for?

Had good ol cornedbeef and cabbage. Was delishious!
When I first saw this place, I couldn't believe it! Seamus McCafferty was the judge of the courtroom thst was actually built into the Eagles Veteran Stadium in Philadelphia. I met the guy at a dinner party back east. Very cool. I guess this is his restaurant... really good food and drinks!
Traditional Irish food, drinks, and atmosphere that is sure to end up in a good time! Plus, the Whiskey Cake is a great way to end the night!
These days, being Irish is cooler then cool, which is probably why we have seen more than a few so-called Irish pubs pop up around town. But Seamus (pronounced shay-mus) has been keepin' it real for more than 20 years. Like any good Irish pub, the downtown no-frills joint keeps football (soccer) on the TV and a huge selection of scotch and whiskey behind the bar. We can always find a table, but it's best to belly up to the bar and chat with the locals or the friendly staff. You will find the... More »
These days, everybody wants to prettify the martini with rose petals or gold flecks or God knows what else. But what the hell is a martini except a way to convey the maximum amount of gin? And that's why we've been increasingly enjoying martinis at bars that would never dream of listing a martini as a house specialty. At an old-school watering hole like downtown's Seamus McCaffrey's, the focus may be on the Scotch, but we guarantee they'll pour you a perfect martini should you order one: icy... More »
