Alas, bread pudding hasn't quite caught on the way we all hoped it would. Still, the folks at Schulzies Bread Pudding on the boardwalk in Venice Beach aren't hurting much. In fact, there's usually a line in front of the walk-up window, thanks to thought-provoking options like Bacon Maple and Apple Pie in the Sky. For the savory-minded, you can nosh on simple grilled cheeses as you stroll the Strand, or wash it all down with a $3 cup of Blue Bottle drip coffee. Since there are more than 100 different possible pudding flavors in rotation at Schulzies at any given time, and only ten on any given day's menu, you may not always get exactly what you're looking for. But that just gives you more reason to go back.
