Nestled between an El Maguey and a dentist office in a small strip mall off Olive in Creve Coeur, Satchmo's Bar and Grill is a simple neighborhood bar perfect for sports fans looking for a new spot to catch the game and get a cheap drink on their way home from work. The walls are lined with Blues memorabilia and there are at least a dozen TVs featuring a sporting event of some sort. Specials vary by day, with recent examples including $10 for a wings/PBR pitcher combo on Sunday, a $30 three-course steak dinner for couples on Wednesday and a 9-10 p.m. power hour on Thursday. If sports aren't your cup of tea, Satchmo's also has trivia night every Tuesday and live music on the weekends.
