Formerly known as the Sauer Apple Saloon, the SAS Martini Lounge is everything but a bar that can be found in an old Western movie. The bar's recent face-lift is that of a upscale club meets trendy beach hangout, minus the hassle of VIPs and velvet ropes. The dimly lit lounge is illuminated by paper lanterns dangling above the dance floor, with wooden mirrors lining the walls and mod couches for a cozier option opposite the metal high-top chairs. The dance floor is packed in the late-night hours, but during the day, the SAS Martini Lounge is a more relaxed environment. In staying true to its martini-lounge theme, the specialty drink menu is extensive, with flavorful and fruity cocktails. In addition to the full liquor and beer selections, SAS has a tapas-style menu with small-plate salads, traditional Greek platters, and baked Brie.
