Instead, she just opened her own restaurant in the renovated Bragg"s Pie Building - a 1947 Streamline Moderne structure that hugs the 45-degree corner of Grand Avenue and McKinley. The menu is simple, fresh, and jaw-droppingly cheap, from thick, chunky Gypsy Stew to salads made with organic greens from Maya"s Farm.
