Description

SanTan Brewing hasn't been around as long as the Valley's craft brew standard-bearer, Four Peaks, but it's fast establishing itself as one of the best brewpubs in Arizona. Located along a nice stretch of restaurants and pubs in the heart of downtown Chandler, it features a vast lineup of in-house brews, along with a decent selection of wine and liquor. The food offerings are of the traditional bar variety, many with a Mexican twist, and are perfectly suited to the microbrews served. Sober eyes will notice some interesting decorative touches, including a metal vault and benches made of safe deposit boxes, left over from the location's former days as the Valley National Bank. The pub always seems to be planning some sort of special shindig or unveiling a new seasonal beer, which makes it the sort of place worth returning to every few months, even if you don't live right around the corner. Oh, and they're now canning their brews, too, so if you like what you taste you can take some home with you.
