The Tipsy Pig
San Francisco, CA 94123
SF Weekly's Description
This gastropub (from the people behind Mamacita, Umami, and Blue Barn) serves comfort food in a nicely decorated setting - large bar room, two dining spaces, heated outdoor patio - that can be calm and cozy early in the evening, but often turns raucous and crowded later at night. The food ranges from classics (a delicious smoked bacon mac 'n' cheese, chicken pot pie) to excellent renditions of new American combinations. There's a kids' menu, and brunch is served on weekends. More than 50 beers, a good wine list, and specialty cocktails are on offer.
Tips from foursquare
Get tipsy on craft beers in the back garden or score the front booth for its famous mac ’n’ cheese.
Order the Strawberry Fields and enjoy it on the back patio
Cool spot. Strawberry fields taste pretty good but not sure how strong the drink really is.
Cover your ears from the screeching girls!
