Description

SF Weekly's Description

Pre-Facebook-style social networking takes place at this Rincon Center restaurant, where the four-sided bar serves wines by the glass, inventive cocktails, and bar snacks to a mix of office workers and and foot-weary tourists. The adjacent dining room glows with starched napery and striking artwork; it's a convivial place to enjoy the kitchen's New American cuisine (ahi tartare, sautéed scallops, grilled steaks, pear-huckleberry cobbler). The sprawling space also includes a dance floor and an outdoor area that converts into a Belgian beer garden on Friday afternoons.

Tips from foursquare

  • Cheapism on 03/05/11

Try some half-priced bubbly every Wednesday in the lounge or covered patio. All Sparkling Wine and Champagne glasses are 1/2 price from 4pm to 10pm. Also try some of the diverse menu inside or out.

  • M. Quinn S. on 03/26/09

    $5 for the 2 Martini Lunch. 11:30-3:00 wed-fri.

  • Jared L. on 04/08/11

Rub Chayse's head for good luck

  • Josh M. on 10/23/10

BBQ brisket has just the right amount of spice and is very good. Only on the lunch menu if I'm not mistaken.

  • Ozlem B. on 10/15/09

The steak plate is very fullfilling size.
