Description

SF Weekly's Description

All the trappings of a choice hole-in-the-wall in the 'hood: A jukebox that plays classic rock exclusively; some pool tables and dart boards and sports on the TVs; a dozen beers on draft ranging from mainstream British imports to mainstream craft beers and another dozen bottles most of the light variety; a full bar with mostly whiskeys and precious few pricy brands marketed by hip-hop moguls; and the only food worth ordering is the thick cut "chips" with malt vinegar to sop 'em up. The bar is spacious, and it's quiet enough that you can have a conversation with your friends without having to shout.

One chill ass bar... They have great drink prices and two pool tables and darts upstairs. The bar food is delish too. On Tuesday's bring a group of friend for trivia.

Oliver's trivia is the best in SF

  • Ken E. on 09/09/09

There's usually only one bartender working so if you want better service it's usually easier to go to the bar directly and order rather than waiting for table service.
