SF Weekly's Description

Classic films reign at the beautiful Stanford Theatre, which opened in 1925. Movies from the '20s and '30s appear on a rotating schedule, which is available on the theater's website. There are two neighboring parking structures, and the theater offers ticket price discount for seniors and children. Check out the gallery next to the main lobby, which contains classic film posters.

Go here to see true classic cinema. The theatre is beautiful and completely restored and complete with Wurlitzer organ and organist that play before and after each film. $7 tickets for any movie!

Sit in the balcony tier. Before the movie starts look up to the edges of ceilings at the pinkish "day light". After the movie starts, the light turns blue like, I guess, night.

Browse the connected film museum hall!
