SF Weekly's Description
Burrito-cheap prices aren' the only reason Mission District party people seek sustenance at this Indian restaurant. The service is blazingly fast, brews may be brown-bagged freely, and the food arrives hot and perfectly delectable. Try the chana masala, lamb shank, and saag dal, though nothing should really disappoint, aside from the fact you can't use your credit card.
Tips from foursquare
Run across the street and grab a 6 pack from the convenience store to accompany your awesome Indian food.
Chicken tikka masala + garlic naan. Win.
Their bengan bartha is BANGIN. As is anything with lamb in it. Word.
Bring beers from the store across the street then drink them here. Pakwan has a wine opener too, just to let you know :)
Dave Chappelle stopped in while I was eating here.
