SF Weekly's Description

This chic two-story restaurant (barroom overlooking open kitchen downstairs, dining room overlooking Sutter upstairs) offers updated versions of French brasserie classics on its seasonally changing menu. There's a nice and affordable wine list, with many selections by the glass, and even nicer pricey cocktails. Midi, located in the Galleria Park Hotel, is convenient to both the downtown financial and shopping districts.

Chic new restaurant downtown. Chef Michelle Mah's clear focus on balancing flavors to bring harmony to her dishes is wonderful. Duckling Confit is killer. -Preeti Mistry, Top Chef

My favorite dessert in all of San Francisco is at Midi and I know my desserts. Indulge in the chocolate pot de creme and make sure you thank me when you're done. It's absolute bliss.

Talk to Jake or one of the other bartenders about what they make in-house (syrups, bitters and even marmalade)

Skillet black tiger prawns = awesome!

Get the burger, best in town!
