SF Weekly's Description

Medjool's three-tiered layout has something for just about everyone. At ground level there's a happenin', hipsteriffic dancefloor and wine and tapas bar serving bastilla, couscous, risotto, cassoulet, and other Mediterranean specialties. Up on the mezzanine is a more intimate lounge with sofas and armchairs and a balcony overlooking Mission Street. And four stories up is the Sky Terrace, a rooftop getaway with a wooden deck, a pocket-sized bar, a casual salad and sandwich menu, and sweeping urban vistas of the Central Mission, Potrero Hill, and the distance spires of downtown S.F. The adjacent Elements youth hostel adds a certain international je ne sais quoi to the equation.

come here for the view of SF from up high with Eurotrash! watch teh fog roll in over a martini - the service is horrible and food is disgusting adn overpriced

go to the rooftop if you get to hot dancing on the first floor. I honestly didn't see any douchebags, but maybe I just got lucky...

  • Siobhan Q. on 12/28/11

Go on a clear day for a drink and a great view (drinks before dinner at Foreign Cinema)

  • Camille C. on 10/22/11

Upstairs to the sky terrace: perfect to laze under the sunbeams, sip on the Moroccan Cucumber cocktail and admire the view of the city.

  • Anthony T. on 08/12/09

be a douchebag like all the other customers!
