SF Weekly's Description

If you're looking for some laid-back fun in the Marina, hit up this combination dive/Hawaiian/sports bar with an easygoing regular crowd. While you may be expecting some serious Hawaiian kitsch, you won't find it here, though you will find a jukebox with an odd mix (Journey one moment, a Jay-Z B-side the next), plus games including Big Buck Hunter, Super Shot basketball, a foosball table, and a pool table. The Loa boasts 20 reasonably-priced beers on tap, one of which is Pabst Blue Ribbon, and you can get a good Mai Tai if fruity drinks are what you crave. Cash only!

This is a great stop for those bar hoping Marina nights. The bartenders are super friendly, but sometimes it gets really crowded.

Another fun bar to frequent on a saturday night is this place. you will find good drinks and arcade games galore. The music is usually pretty awesome too- some good 80's and 90's tunes- that you can easily shake your groove thing to :)

    $3.00 PBRs till 8! Everyday!

Be respectfully quiet of the residents in the block, especially if youre waiting for a cab. 1.) Your voice carries through windows 2.) You should have ordered an Uber.

  • Rob R. on 11/21/11

Pop-a-shot. Seriously. Also, cash only, so be aware of that.

The least "Marina bar" of the Cow Hollow bars in my opinion, if you find yourself wanting to escape the Triangle crowd but are too drunk to secure a cab, just walk here.

Take a picture with the bar cam and see yourself on the jukebox!
