Description

SF Weekly's Description

This bright, trim Polk Gulch storefront prepares and serves everybody's favorite comfort food, rice pudding, in a variety of flavors and textures that deliciously reinvent the classic dessert. Here, the time-honored combo of milk, eggs, sugar, and rice is jazzed up with mango, peanut butter, Key limes, English toffee, Madagascar vanilla, pumpkin pie, rum-soaked raisins, pecan pralines, or chai spice (among others) to tasty, soul-soothing effect. You can also opt for all-fruit smoothies, freshly squeezed juices, a wonderfully intense lemonade, Barefoot Organic coffee, and Mighty Leaf tea as well as all-natural nonfat frozen yogurt enhanced with your choice of fruits, nuts, cookies, and candies.

Tips from foursquare

  • Foodspotting on 01/07/11

Try the Coconut rice pudding and spot it on Foodspotting!

  • BlackboardEats on 06/23/11

The fun begins when you choose a "mix-in" to flavor your dairy swirls. Pick fresh fruit like strawberries or bananas, devilish treats like Oreos, Junior Mints or cookie dough.

  • Sophie S. on 03/06/11

Cookies 'n cream pudding is delightful! :)

  • Clayton S. on 03/26/11

    Coconut rice pudding. Do it.

  • Kelly M. on 07/18/10
