SF Weekly's Description

Little Joe's is no hip, farm-to-table homage to authentic Italian regional fare. Instead, there are red-and-white-checkered tablecloths, softball-sized meatballs, and spaghetti drowning in red sauce with fluffy white bread on the side. As might be expected, food is less of a priority to the owners than the old-fashioned ambiance. At the same time, the margaritas are refreshing, games play on screens around the bar, and those meatballs are pretty good.

Tips from foursquare

Cheap beer (for the city), great food, and an awesome staff. This place has a reputation that it has earned and deserves.

The meat lasagna is pretty good. Try it!

Joe is amazing! Steph the bartender was fantastic! Love this place, love the food. Get the carbonara and you'll be in heaven! :)

I got the Pickwick breakfast. Joe himself took my order. Great full bar.

The bread was good and the fried sausage is interesting.
