Description

SF Weekly's Description

Open until midnight and well-established as an industry hangout, the excellent Lers Ros specializes in bold-flavored regional Thai food, devoting special attention to game and shareable fried tidbits. Crunch through a sweet-sour fried catfish salad or enjoy a trio of frog, quail, and rabbit, each morsel crisped to a dark-red sheen and dragged through a saucer of what looks and tastes suspiciously like Frank's RedHot by way of Bangkok. Don't miss the pork belly crowned with green peppercorn vines at this Tenderloin restaurant.

Sure Lers Ros is the only authentic Thai restaurant with rabbit, frog and venison on its regular menu, but even the pad Thai rivals the best you'll find anywhere in Thailand. [Eater 38 Member]

7x7's Big Eat 2012 says the duck larb is delicious. Yum!

Order the Fried Trout!! You will come back and order it AGAIN and AGAIN!!!

  • Tim V. on 11/21/12

New Yorkers: this place is the caliber of the best Thai places in Queens, like SriPraPhai. The default spiciness is perfect, unless you hate chilies.
