SF Weekly's Description

One of the most efficient and cheerless of the Mission taquerias (basically just a steamy white box), but it purveys some of the most delicious and inexpensive burritos and tacos around.

BEST burritos hands down. When I lived in the City went there at least once a week. Worked in the financial district, we would actually take BART at lunchtime, hustle in, order and get back on the train with enough time to get back to work with food for everyone. When I travel to CA now have to make a stop and get my carne asada burrito fix - STILL the best I've ever had.....

I've been going here since I can remember, I'm 26 now, and their quality has never, ever gone down. The prices fluctuate with the economy, sure, but it's still a good deal on delicious, quality, food.

The BEST burritos on earth. Everything great. The food here is savory, fresh, and wonderful. The lines out the door and repeated awards prove it.

7x7's Big Eat 2012 says the carnitas taco is delicious. Yum!

The Mission District is full of Mexican joints, but La Taqueria's devotion to quality meats and dynamic salsas have earned it its spot in the San Fran culinary hall of fame.
