SF Weekly's Description

With decor reminiscent of a traditional Japanese home and tall glass windows facing the street, Koo is an inviting and comfortable Inner Sunset restaurant. Sushi and sashimi are the focus at this Japanese restaurant, but small plates and appetizers are popular as well--notably during happy hour, when they are less expensive. From eggplant dengaku, to miso-marinated black cod, to salmon tartare with shrimp chips, most dishes lend themselves to cold beer and sake.

Koo rocks! I just had the best salmon sushi in my life - fresh wild Alaskan King. It's a good blend of traditional Japanese sushi and some more Modern special rolls.
