SF Weekly's Description

When you're hankering after some musubi and mahimahi and the airfare to Hamakuapoko is a bit too vertical, satisfy your island jones with a jaunt to this laid-back tropical getaway. Lilting Hawaiian music and that friendly aloha vibe set the mood for an evening of tiny-umbrella cocktails and traditional South Seas cuisine: tuna poke, spam musubi, chicken adobo, kalua pork, all of it served in abundance. Classic plate lunches with mac 'n' cheese and rice are available throughout the day. The tiki-bar decor is an aesthetic pleasure, and the occasional live band turns the place into a rollicking nightspot.
