Description

SF Weekly's Description

The city's premier steakhouse serves house-aged Prime-grade corn-fed beef and similar retro delights (chops, sweetbreads, lobster, etc.) in a vast, plushy dining room. The steaks are the best in town (tastier than their roast beef), arriving with potatoes (try the roast creamers) and creamed spinach. The thin-crusted, non-yucky pecan pie is a world-beater. The wine list is serious and expensive. Reservations required.

Hello carnivorous brethren, I recommend the petit filet, medium rare & better than epic roasthouse.

Have a seat in the the bar room and enjoy the music by Pete (drums) and his jazz band (Thursday through Saturday). Enjoy!

They'll treat you right. Grab some good grub with people who mean the most to you.
