SF Weekly's Description
A convivial neighborhood bar -- and, for the most part, the only show in this quiet part of town -- the Glen Park Station is just a few steps from its namesake BART stop, making it equally good for a quick post-work brew as it is for a slow, casual game of darts with your buddies later at night.
Tips from foursquare
The San Francisco Chronicle’s architecture writer called this station a great example of the Brutalism strain of modernism. Cafe Bello nearby makes great examples of latte art!
When on the down escalator especially, stand (& keep your luggage) to the right, so people can get by you & make their trains. Please. I beg you.
This station is one of the many features that make the neighborhood so livable.
If you run up the stairs, you can beat the people on the escalator to the top. & it's good for the ol' bottom line.. heh heh...
There is an electrical outlet at the base of the wall behind the elevator; perfect for charging your device while you wait for your train.
