This archive and research center houses one of the largest collections of gay, lesbian, bisexual, and transgender materials in the nation. It's open to researchers by appointment. In addition, the society also sponsors the GLBT History Museum in the Castro.

    If you're GLBT, or interested in our history, this is a great place to visit. Exhibits change from time to time, and (if you're doing research) the archive is full of interesting information
