El Amigo Bar
SF Weekly's Description
If you've ever wished that an Italian pasta restaurant would have a Mexican margartia bar attached to it, then your wishes will come true at El Amigo, which is the de facto waiting room for Emmy's Spaghetti Shack. The drinks -- like the clientele -- range from cheap Mission hipness to heights of new Bernal fanciness, while occasional DJs spin retro obscurities in the background.
They’re beefing up their high-end tequila selection & giving the interior a makeover. Another step in gentrification? Maybe, but with good tequila, you can’t go wrong.
You should drink alcohol when you're here!
The margaritas aren't bad
Rachelle is the best bartender in the world. Be sure to be there on Thursdays for the best music in the bay.
Staff is awesome. Drinks are great. DJs most nights and it's right next to Emmy's. Win
