Description

SF Weekly's Description

After painful parking and an hour-plus of waiting-room chaos, you'll find gemlike creations at a sushi bar where (in delight-filled traditional fashion) each chef caters to just a few thrilled patrons. For full dinners, the miso soup is ultrarich, the sweet-glazed teriyaki delightful; other entrees are routine.

Architecture firm Tekton Architecture Inc's design inspiration came from the sea and restaurant’s namesake, Japanese god of fortune. The design earned a Merit Award from AIA San Francisco in 2010.

Sit at the sushi bar! Shorter wait and fun banter amongst the sushi chefs!

Fabulous fish. Try anything with lemon slices and whatever is on special.
