Description

SF Weekly's Description

The specialty of this clean-lined Japanese delicatessen, all chrome and glass, is sozai, a Japanese concept of meals of many small dishes. Choose from among salads, noodle dishes, and fried items to make up four- or five-item bento boxes at this Embarcadero restaurant, which can be enjoyed at a table on the Ferry Building promenade or taken out. Sushi rolls are also on hand at Delica Rf-1.

Try the Pastrami Sandwich and spot it on Foodspotting!

Oh my freakin' God. Anything with their hot pastrami or corned beef is tops. "The Dee" is my favorite sandwich. I have never been moved to tears by a sandwich before.

  • The Bold Italic on 06/14/11

Start out with the cheese blintzes. They are oh-my-god heavenly pockets of creamy goodness, especially when dipped in their house-made apple sauce, spiced with cinnamon, then try the matzo ball soup!

Try the matzah ball soup and spot it on Foodspotting!

I wont mention one thing here because they have the most impressive menu I have ever seen.
