SF Weekly's Description
This inexpensive American eatery on the Embarcadero is the hospitality arm of the well-known Delancey Street Foundation, which helps ex-cons and drug addicts turn around their lives. The cause is noble, but the food has devotees as well. While the Sunday brunch menu - scrambles, waffles, and so forth - is big, customers from nearby downtown offices come during the week for sandwiches, pastas, salads, and pizzetas.
