Description

SF Weekly's Description

Why suffer through another dreary dinner when all you really want is dessert? Candybar cuts to the chase with an ever-changing, dolce-only menu of unique, satisfying, and intricately crafted tarts, cakes, mousses, ices, brûlées, cookies, and confections. The totally sweet bill of fare is complemented by a splendid selection of ports, espresso drinks, loose-leaf teas, and champagne cocktails, and the spare, sofa-lined art-gallery setting has a nice hip-yet-comfy ambience. Board games too!

The Peanut Butter Jelly Time is sticky good fun, and the apple pie a la mode is just how mom made it. A champagne cocktail, like the kir royale, washes it all down nicely.

There’s no need to rush at this hip, relaxing hotspot, where guests are encouraged to start a board game. Play some checkers and nosh on the can't miss chocolate tart-based peanut butter jelly time.

If it's Tues or Thurs stop by for some Kung Fu Tacos and great drink specials. I recommend the duck and pork tacos.

Try the Peanut Butter Jelly Time! and spot it on Foodspotting!

Order the Strawberry Limeaide off of the dessert menu. Oh my geez.
