Description

SF Weekly's Description

Bruno's mid-century retro decor may be reminiscent of the Rat Pack era, but the bar's nocturnal patrons don't come here to indulge in loungey nostalgia -- they line up to hear DJs spin hip-hop, funk, soul, and reggae while sipping fancy highballs in Bruno's two reddish, heavily wooded rooms. During late mornings and early afternoons on weekends, nascent celebrity chef Ryan Scott serves Brunch Drunk Love, a breakfast-and-booze event that caters to highfalutin foodies and hungover revelers alike.

The classic style of the place has been home to scenes of love & loss for more than 60 years. Four different rooms mean the party comes in different flavors.
