SF Weekly's Description

This slightly grungy hole-in-the-wall spot serves delicious overflowing plates of El Salvadoran food at reasonable prices. An excellent introduction is the plate containing a pupusa (a thick grilled tortilla stuffed with cheese, beans, meats, vegetables, or a combination), a pastele (something like an empanada, also with your choice of stuffings), and fried or steamed yuca topped with meat or fish. Grilled steaks are chewy but flavorful; fresh fish can be fried or grilled. Breakfast (such as eggs scrambled with chorizo, served with rice and beans) is served all day.
