Description

SF Weekly's Description

This specialty-foods store, located in a historic storefront which has housed a butcher shop for more than a hundred years, features organic meats, sustainably raised and harvested seafood, organic dairy products and local produce, and enticing displays of jams, oils, vinegars, and all manner of interesting imported foodstuffs. There's no place to dine on-site, but in addition, they turn out half-a-dozen grilled panini, side dishes, and a daily-changing hot entrée (available after 4 p.m.). Menus change monthly. Rotisserie chickens available daily.

The "Lambwich" panini sandwich was quite possibly the best sandwich I've ever had in my life. EVER. My wife usually hates lamb but thought it was delicious.
