Description

SF Weekly's Description

This venerable hangout for tourists serves pricey bistro and bar fare with an emphasis on local, seasonal produce and sustainable, organic meats. Annabelle's is comfortable, whether you're plopped down at the bar for a glass of wine or gathered around a table with the whole family. The menu is highly nonthreatening: calamari, garlic fries, pork chops with mashed potatoes, Anchor Steam-braised short ribs, and a fine burger. Cocktails are excellent.

Flank steak and frites. The fries are delicious rolled in the wine-based sauce. My favorite dish here.

    sit in the window seat!

  • jim k. on 02/24/10

    Low key bar. Good spot.

  • Garrett D. on 03/24/10

Ask for the bar menu. It is much cheaper and has a great burger.

  • Armand on 08/06/13

Sit at the bar. Have the bacon wrapped prawns then order the locally raised beef burger with your choice of cheese and a Racer 5. The end.
