Ace Wasabi's Rock N Roll Sushi
San Francisco, CA 94123
SF Weekly's Description
It's like Hard Rock Cafe with sushi -- excellent sushi. The AOR music is pretty decent, too, with the odd Bay City Rollers tune thrown in for low comedy. The rolls, despite cutesy names (49er, Steiner), are splendidly imaginative, especially the crawfish roll and the Flying Kamikaze Roll. Traditional sushi dishes are also flawless. Everything's fresh, and nothing's too expensive.
Tips from foursquare
Always a good crowd, never a quiet night. You may have to wait a good 45 min for a table so unless you're going for the social scene, try to hit it on a random night or off hours. - Jill
Monday-Friday, from 5:30-7pm, this sushi bar offers $2-$4 small plates and sushi rolls. You can also get the Tokyo trio for $7 you get one draft beer, one handroll, and one shot of Nagori sake.
The chili cilantro edamame is amazing! Spicy though, so be careful if you can't take the heat.
