I bought a Voice Daily Deal coupon for $10 value $30 for the Street Eats Food Truck Festival..for 2 admissions plus entry for 2 to the Happy Hour Social Zone...It was $5 each for admission and entry to Happy Hour Zone was free? So where was the $30 value. The bartender said it held no value for drinks, security check @ Happy Hour Zone didn't understand...the New Times tent had no idea either and neither did the People at admissions...I want my Money back or stop advertising a coupon valued at $30 , sold at $10 but only worth $10

Event Review: Street Eats Food Truck Festival

Luckily, I bought tickets on Groupon, so I wasted less money on this event. We were very excited to go. After waiting in traffic for 40 minutes to get into the parking area and paying $5, we parked. It was 1:00 in the afternoon. The event was to run from 10:00 a.m. until 5:00 p.m. We walked to the food truck area. The lines were so long, for each truck, and barely moving. There were many people that had gone through lines, still waiting on their food. Trucks were closing down because they had run out of food. After waiting in one of the lines for 30 minutes and not moving, with over 100 people in front of us, and all of the other lines were no different, we left. We didn't eat a bite. Terrible experience.

  • 2011 | Best Place to See a Spring Training Game

Call us softies, but we were kinda sad to see Tucson lose its last two Cactus League teams. With the desertion of the Colorado Rockies and our hometown Arizona Diamondbacks before the 2011 spring training season, that city down south is now totally shut out of the fun. The consolidation of the Cactus League to the Valley seems especially silly since the hapless squads stuck in Florida's shitty-ass Grapefruit League sometimes have to drive four hours between ballparks. And, of course, along... More »
