Chef Tyler Hefford-Anderson cooks for a captive audience, the diners who make the trek to the spectacular Salish Lodge an hour east of Seattle. You know, the historic lodge featured in the opening shots of Twin Peaks, the iconic place where couples come for romantic weekends filled with room service, Champagne, and chocolate massages.
Isnt this the place they used in the TV show "Twin Peaks" ?
There is a great, short, hike that takes you to the pools at the base of the falls. Steelhead are thick in the pools. Go west on 202 and take a left on Fish Hatchery Road; go to the end of the road for the trailhead.
This is a great view even in winter. There are trails and you can even go under the falls if you dare. Good food and good rooms
