Crunchy fried snacks are the way to go at this Taiwanese bubble tea and snack shop. Try the fried daikon radish cake-a crisp, generously salt-and-peppered batter that crunches into the soft, faintly pungent steamed radish. Enthusiasts of bubble tea will appreciate the large selection offered.

Some are made with cut-rate fruit powders, some substitute nondairy creamer for milk, while others are just incompetently formulated and incompletely mixed.
