This ornate drapery-and-chandelier banquet hall has a secret-society vibe to it, but once you're settled at your big zakuski-laden, posse-friendly table, it's music, dancing, drinking, and scarfing until the wee small hours. All-you-can-eat piroshki, pelmeni, chicken Kiev, blini, smoked sturgeon, pickled herring, caviar, and other delights arrive in course after course, washed down with shot after shot of vodka and cognac (not included in the price), while the house band gets the primarily Russian crowd moving to those thrumming old-country melodies.
