Description

Who has the best pad thai in all the realm? Whenever that question arises, Ruam Mit enters the conversation. The bright, utilitarian space isn't particularly inviting, but the pad thai--bouncy, toasty, ocean-scented noodles with a twist of lemon and crisp bean sprouts--is unforgettable. The rest of the menu consists of soups, salads, cream-cheese wontons, roast-duck curry, and all the usual suspects, inexpensively priced. (The other conversation Ruam Mit Thai consistently figures into is where to eat for cheap in downtown St. Paul.)
