Description

Billing itself as America's "last honest pizza," Round Table was among the first pizza chains to boast of an "artisan" approach, even advertising the fact that the wheat for its dough is grown on family farms in Idaho. Thin-crust pizzas have been perennial favorites since the chain's founding in Menlo Park, California in 1959, but anything you order here comes with house-made marinara sauce, fresh tomatoes, and sliced-when-you-order mozzarella. Boutique flavors like Chicken and Bacon and the Cheesy-Cheesy (different because it's topped with a creamy garlic sauce) are available, along with Round Table's pasta menu, garlic bread, and snappy cinnamon twists. A salad bar helps regular visitors keep from becoming too round themselves. Find Round Table Pizza in Miami on Voice Places.

So if King Arthur were still roaming the wilderness, waving around Excalibur, and getting... More »

Located in an industrial warehouse district about ten blocks away from the 103rd Street exit of I-95, the Round Table has been in business for 40 years. From 4:00 to 7:00 p.m. Monday through Friday, this neighborhood bar offers patrons 50 cents off all drinks -- not bad when you consider most drinks hover in the $3 (the... More »
