Description

Roseland plays host to classic-rock luminaries and popular, touring, modern-rock acts not quite ready for the arena. But, because it holds more than 3,000 people and has security goons and lines that rival those at MSG, youad better get there early or risk that the only thing youall see of your favorite band is the faint outline of the back of their heads as they leave the stage after their encore. When you enter the historic ballroom, be sure to check out the plaque that hangs in the entranceway listing the hundreds of couples in its 75-year history that met there and married. Thatas something youall never see at the Garden.

    Event Review: Pitbull

It was a short concert with no preshow acts, and with pitbull only singing two of his famous hits, rain on me and give me everything tonight. Never paid so much for a lame concert!

  • 2009 | Best Place to Have Gay Sex That'll Irritate the Shit Out of the Red States

The Black Party--the legendary Saturday-night debauch annually held in March at the Roseland Ballroom--attracts something like 5,000 revelers for a gigantic whoop-de-do that starts edgy, gets raunchy, and ends up in need of paper towels. The bash attracts gays from all over the world, who not only thrill to the leather and fetish performances studded through the night, but inevitably start re-enacting them around the crevices of the club, oinking it up for anonymous sex scenes that...
