Few experiences in life are as harsh as getting dumped. You're flying high and part of something special one minute, and then out on your ass the next. Just ask the cats down at the Rocky Point Cantina, which used to be part of the Dos Gringos chain until it was sold off in 2009. Though it may not sell Gringoritas anymore, the hacienda-like establishment located near ASU is still very much a party palace for college kids and other members of the 18-to-35 demographic. Rocky Point still features amusing signs laced with double entendres ("Women love a man with a big burrito"), outdoor seating on two floors, and ample space for both drinking and dancing. A variety of specials - including $2 Coronas and $3 tequila shots - are available at any of the establishment's three bars, including one in the shape of an old Gulfstream trailer.
