The food's pretty good - I had a chili cheese dog (bonus points for homemade chili WITH NO BEANS) and the wife had a pastrami sandwich. The fries were high point of the meal (they are fantastically thin and just the right ratio of crunch to squish), but for me the real draw of this place is their selection of sodas. Rocket Burger has picked up the ball that Pop The Soda Shop dropped and took off runnin'. Their cold case probably has 200 different labels of soda in it, and the windows and a display by the register show even more wildly diverse stock. They also have an authentic pump-your-own-flavors Slush Puppy machine, but it's sequestered back behind the counter and they won't actually let you pump your own flavors. Nobody's perfect, but Rocket Burger is a pretty good ways there. We'll be back.
