Rock Bottom proves that it's possible to inject some local flavor into a chain bar. For instance, the North Scottsdale location features a half-dozen draft beers (including Saguaro stout, Raptor Red, and El Jefe hefeweizen), all of which are crafted at its in-house brewery. The upscale sports bar and restaurant also serves more than a dozen different imports and domestics in bottle form, so there's a little something for every kind of beer drinker. Happy hour runs from 4 to 7 p.m. every Monday through Saturday and provides patrons with $3.25 pints, $3 well drinks and house wines, and $5 appetizers. If you're short on cash, Texas Hold'em tourneys also take place every Monday night and offer gift certificates as prizes. But no matter how competitive the card games can get, Rock Bottom maintains a chillax vibe where you can partake in conversation without having to shout over noisy dance music or rowdy sports fans.
