Thrill to the divine combination of French and African cooking that is Haitian cuisine in this trim, well-decorated restaurant near Brooklyn College. While the possibly endangered conch ("lambi" on the menu) is rarely available, there is plenty of wonderful pork (pick the citrus-marinate and fried "grillot") and goat (available fried or fricasseed). Anything in Creole sauce is good, and the globular salt-cod fritters are divine. Complete two-course dinners are mainly priced at $7 to $10, and include green salad, entrée, rice, and red beans. Sunday the wonderful djon-djon rice is available, flavored and colored with miniature black mushrooms.
